About PlateLink
Built from experience.
Designed for accountability.
PlateLink is a community-driven platform that lets users leave secure digital notes tied to license plates, making it easier to share or receive important information after vehicle incidents like hit-and-runs. By combining user-submitted evidence, GPS-tagged lot checks, and a private database, PlateLink helps connect people faster than traditional systems—creating accountability, enhancing safety, and increasing the chances of resolution when damage occurs.
PlateLink is patent pending technology and still in its development stages.

Our Mission
Paved in integrity and committed to security, we strive to create a world where motorists are empowered to do the right thing, knowing that their actions contribute to the betterment and safety of our shared roadways.

Meet Our Founder
Patrick Allison
After spending 30 days on the road as a truck driver, I came home to find my Dodge Challenger had been hit in a parking lot. No note.
It had been storming the past week, so I didn’t know if it was a true hit-and-run—or if a note had simply washed away. Either way, I was left with nothing but a $1,000 deductible.
The company I worked for wouldn’t release the camera footage. The police wouldn’t come to the scene without clear evidence of who caused the damage. I had no way to find out if anyone nearby had seen it happen—or if a dashcam had caught it. With no leads, I was left to absorb the cost on my own. Just a week later, I witnessed another hit-and-run—this time in Grapevine, Texas. I followed the driver, called 911, and gave them a license plate number. But nothing happened. I had no way to reach the person who got hit, or to share what I saw.
That’s the moment I realized: we don’t just need better accountability.
We need a better way to connect. That’s when I started PlateLink.
And after speaking with an attorney, I learned that the technology I was creating was patentable. We’re now officially in patent pending status.
